Providence Home Program
Since 1963, Providence Home has been providing temporary housing and permanent hope for men coming out of addiction, incarceration, homelessness or other instabilities.
We are not a homeless shelter, but a Christ-centered program committed to serving men 18 and older who are ready to experience lasting transformation, rebuild relationships, maintain sobriety, and embrace a future filled with hope. Most men stay with us 4 to 12 months and are encouraged to stay for at least a year to increase their chances of successful reentry into the community. All able-bodied men are required to work and pay a weekly program fee.
We are not a homeless shelter, but a Christ-centered program committed to helping men who want to break destructive cycles and become productive citizens.
Providence Home provides temporary room and board, structure, and accountability. Additionally, a Providence Home resident receives:
- Access to social service, medical and dental care
- Biblical teaching and accountability
- Employment assistance and transportation where applicable
- Pastoral care
