Volunteers play a vital role in our ministry to the men in residence. As we continue to grow and improve our facilities and programs, your support in prayer, financial giving, and volunteering becomes more and more important in what God is doing here. If you’re interested in getting involved as a volunteer, please fill out this form.
Below are some of the opportunities available to serve at Providence Home:
Providence Home believes that prayer is foundational to the fruit of our ministry. Volunteer prayer team members receive regular, confidential requests from residents and staff and commit to receive them by email and intercede for the men, staff, board of directors, campus, and ministry. This is a good opportunity for individuals, families, and prayer groups.

VolunteerThis is a great opportunity for any family, Sunday School class, church small group, club, organization, business, etc. It is considered one of the best ways for someone to get involved at Providence Home because volunteers interact with resident men while serving a meal. Our men typically show great appreciation to the volunteers who come. Whether it is one-time or recurring, each meal is a blessing to our men and ministry! We have some teams that come monthly or quarterly. Some groups enjoy doing some unique things like decorating the Dining Hall for holidays, grilling outside, or including a cornhole tournament or activity with the meal. Youth are welcome to serve, if chaperoned by an adult.
VolunteerProvidence Home is building a network of men who are willing to build a trusting relationship with one or more of our residents in order to increase the likelihood they will stay committed to gaining stability and fulfilling their personal potential in Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities and tasks:
This is a good opportunity for someone who is organized or likes a task that can be completed within a short period of time. Various office tasks, such as social media support, phone calls, office organization, computer IT or Office 365 IT assistance, and more.
VolunteerDo you have a talent or professional skill that may benefit Providence Home? It could be artistic, mechanical, financial, or industrial. Do you build items, can you do lawn projects, are you a photographer or videographer? It could literally be any skill that could benefit Providence Home.
VolunteerProvidence Home hosts several events each year where volunteers are a huge help! Volunteers have assisted with invitations, tablecloth ironing, set up and tear down, refreshments pick up, and more.
VolunteerProvidence Home has found that when residents and staff participate together in off-campus experiences, opportunities for laughter, brotherhood, and community are created. Examples include water adventures, hiking, overnight retreats, ballgames, musical events, and more.
If you have resources to share for off-campus experiences, or would like to host or sponsor an experience some or all of our men, it would likely be an opportunity many men have never experienced before and would be remembered for a long time.
VolunteerService Projects are opportunities for groups to assist our staff and residents with spring cleaning, painting, pressure washing, lawn care, or limited building projects. Youth are welcome to participate, if chaperoned by an adult. Tasks and responsibilities are determined by the project. Contact us to determine a date, time frame, project, and project supplies.
